Crews reinstalled "Salute to Painting" on Thursday at the Walker Art Center's Vineland Terrace in Minneapolis. The sculpture is a big colorful brush stroke by the late Roy Lichtenstein, given to the Walker in the 1990s by former board members in honor of then-director Martin Friedman. It had been in storage for the past year while the 1971 wing of the building was re-bricked. The $8 million re-bricking project is now complete.
