Firefighters were battling a house fire on Victor Lane in Minnetonka on Sunday night.
No one was believed to be inside the home, according to police Sgt. Brett Pertler.
He said it was not known what caused the fire, which started in the garage area and was reported to authorities at 9:12 p.m.
Crews still were at the scene at 10:30 p.m., Pertler said. The homeowner was outside with officers.
Firefighters were called in from Minnetonka, Hopkins and Eden Prairie.
