Criminal minds

"A Night at the Movies: Cops & Robbers and Crime Writers" (7 p.m., TCM) looks at classic films through the eyes of some of our finest crime novelists, including Joseph Wambaugh ("The Onion Field"), James Ellroy ("L.A. Confidential") and Robert Daley ("Prince of the City"). Augment the experience by sticking around for some classic films like "Bullitt" (8 p.m.) and "The Naked City" (11 p.m.).

Flat-footed

"Dancing With the Stars" (8 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5) wraps up an enjoyable but frustrating season in which a lot of well-deserved contestants got the shaft too early while Bill Engvall just kept sailing along. It's clear that the viewing audience is voting more on sentiment than talent. Some of the viewers' power needs to be stripped until they earn it back.

Lone Star justice

"Marshal Law: Texas" (9 p.m., TNT) pays tribute to law enforcement officers who track down some of their state's most violent offenders and most dangerous crooks in the Houston area.
