How better to celebrate the opening of the Minnesota History Center’s exhibit on Prohibition than with a Bootleggers Ball? In addition to dressing the part of flappers and gangsters, guests learned the Charleston and shimmy, had their mugshots taken and sipped moonshine cocktails for the one-night speakeasy. The exhibit, “American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition,” runs through mid-March.
