MANKATO – Kelly Terry scored three goals and had two assists to pace the Gophers women's hockey team to a 7-0 WCHA victory over Minnesota State Mankato on Saturday at All Seasons Arena.

"For 120 minutes this weekend, we played really, really well," Gophers coach Brad Frost said. "It's nice again to see everyone contributing, nice for Kelly Terry to get the hat trick and Amanda Leveille to get the shutout."

The No. 1-ranked Gophers (10-0, 6-0 WCHA) scored twice in the final 25 seconds of the second and three times in the final three minutes of the third in their 59th consecutive victory.

With her five points, Terry, a senior from Whitby, Ontario, reached 100 points for her career — as did Sarah Davis, a senior from Paradise, Newfoundland, with her one assist. Terry's first goal — on a power play — gave the Gophers a 2-0 lead with 25 seconds left in the second period.

Leveille had 24 saves, Danielle Butters 40 for the Mavericks (3-7, 0-6) to give her 88 this weekend.
