EASTON, Wis. — Wisconsin officials say a mobile home fire that killed two people in Easton started in a camper parked nearby.

Daily Tribune Media reports (http://wrtnews.co/Hq9mQI ) the Monday morning fire killed 79-year-old Ronald Peak and another person who has yet to be identified. Peak's wife, Joann, is in a Madison hospital with injuries from the fire.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said in a Wednesday news release that the fire started in a camper parked next to Peak's mobile home, and the unidentified victim was in the camper. Authorities are waiting on DNA test results to identify that person.

The sheriff's department says the fire appears accidental, although the investigation continues.
