SEPT. 25

Children alone: Officers went to a home on the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road to check on children, ages 1 and 4, who had been left home alone. Officers found the 1-year-old sleeping. An 18-year-old man arrived home and said the 13-year-old sister was supposed to be watching them. A report was sent to child protection.

SEPT. 28

Missing adult: A 23-year-old woman was reported missing from a home on the 9400 block of Cain Road. The reporting party said their daughter was not answering her phone or text messages and it was unusual. They called a short time later to say the daughter was fine. Her phone had gotten wet and wasn't working.

SEPT. 17

Theft: A 20-year-old Shakopee man was arrested for stealing two agates from Excelsior Coin Gallery, 449 Second St.

SEPT. 20

Public cosumption: Officers found a 30-year-old Excelsior man drinking alcohol on the steps at Trinity Episcopal Church, 322 2nd St. He told officers he was there because it was a quiet place to think. He was informed he could not drink in public, so he walked home.

SEPT. 28

DWI: A Chanhassen man, 43, was arrested for drunken driving and child endangerment after leaving Lago Tacos, 30 Water St., with a child in the vehicle.

OCT. 9

Theft: Statues valued at $25,000 were stolen from a garage on the 5200 block of Schaefer Road.

OCT. 11

DWI: A 17-year-old boy was arrested for drunken driving and juvenile consumption of alcohol after the vehicle he was driving was in an accident on Mavelle Drive and Glouchester Avenue.

OCT. 12

Theft: A guitar was stolen from the 3600 block of Hazelton Road.

SEPT. 26

Injury: A woman was stung on her tongue by a bee on County Road 26. She was checked by paramedics.

SEPT. 27

Burglary: A Bobcat, a painting, clothes and other items were stolen from a home on County Road 151.

RICHFIELD

OCT. 8

Theft: A juvenile male stole his mother's wallet, containing $60, after a dispute with her at an apartment on the 500 block of 73rd Street E. He also broke a glass door in the apartment building.

OCT. 10

Disturbance: An intoxicated 35-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct and taken to detox after a disturbance on the 200 block of 65th Street W.

Theft: A dog was stolen from a vehicle on the 6300 block of Richfield Parkway.

OCT. 11

E-Threats: A man on the 7700 block of Bloomington Avenue reported that he was receiving harassing and threatening text messages from his drug dealer.

SHOREWOOD

SEPT. 18

Burglary: Officers responded to a home on the 5900 block of Sweetwater Circle regarding a suspected burglary in progress. A resident in the home reported hearing the garage door open and that lights in one of the vehicles were on. While en route, the officers received another call saying that a family had just returned home.

SEPT. 24

Intoxication: Officers responded to an apartment on the 5500 block of County Road 19 regarding an uncooperative, intoxicated female. The 26-year-old woman, who had a 0.40 blood alcohol level, was taken to a hospital.
