Keeping tabs on Friday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!
It's Friday and the temperature should surpass 50 degrees today. That ought to help put us in a good mood. Roads that are wide open at this hour should, too.
At the moment, westbound 694 is flowing freely even though it is reduced to a single lane from 35W over to about Central Avenue for overnight road work.
Look out for debris on the road on eastbound Hwy. 610 at Noble Avenue in Brooklyn Park, and a stall on the right shoulder of westbound 494 at Cedar Avenue. There also is some road work in the area, which is taking out the left lane.
I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help.
If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
