A woman presented a note, robbed a Blaine bank and then left behind a very clear image on a bank camera of her dour face before slipping into a getaway vehicle and driving off with her cohort, authorities said Thursday.

The holdup occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the TCF Bank branch inside the Cub Foods at 12595 Central Av. NE., according to police.

After handing over a note to the teller, “she did get away with some money,” said police Lt. Dan Pelkey.

The vehicle she fled in was driven by a male and was described as a full-size blue conversion van.

Police also have a surveillance photo of the van.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call the FBI at 763-569-8000 or police at 763-427-1212.
