Interesting numbers provided by ESPN Stats & Information following Monday night’s game: Josh Freeman’s completion percentage (.377) was the lowest in a game by a quarterback with at least 50 attempts since Eli Manning of the Giants in Week 15 in 2007. Freeman’s number was fourth lowest all-time among QBs with at least 50 attempts. Freeman’s 18 off-target throws were the second most in a game since 2006.

PLAY OF THE GAME
The Giants punted from their 33 when leading 10-7 with 9:33 left in the third quarter. Steve Weatherford (5) booted a 57-yarder that was taken by Marcus Sherels (35) of the Vikings inside the 10, but Sherels stumbled and fumbled near the 13. Giants long snapper Zak DeOssie (51) chased down the ball and recovered it at the 3. The Giants scored two players later on a 1-yard run by Peyton Hillis to take control of the game.
