Before his successful comedy career on various TV shows, including the new Fox sitcom "Dads," Martin Mull was a successful recording artist, opening for the likes of Frank Zappa and Bruce Springsteen. He's also a painter whose work appears on the cover of Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's new album. He shared with us what he listens to when he's at the easel.

"I listen to a lot of bluegrass and country music when I'm in my studio. Classical music, jazz. I don't want anything with lyrics, because they can be pretty distracting. I'm a guitar player, and I like to hear things that are acoustic. I get together every now and then with Steve Martin and just do some picking, but I've got no desire to go back on the road. You couldn't pay me enough."
