After postponing his show in June due to visa problems, British grime-rap star Tricky has outright canceled the rescheduled date Oct. 8 at First Avenue for the same reason. Refunds will be given out automatically to fans who purchased them online, or they can be had at the point of purchase if bought in person.

All of Trick's U.S. tour dates save for four at the end of the month have been cancelled. His publicist issued a statement explaining the troubles in getting him into the States:

"Tricky has some juvenile offences for joyriding and forgery of the crown and the US authorities require full disclosure before granting any visas. The new hold-up has been in getting this information from the UK police authorities."

Tricky himself issued this statement:

"The most upsetting thing about this, whatever happens it seems like it's me letting people down. Other people have always dealt with visas for me and it turns out that they have not advised me properly. Now I have been advised that this was going to be straightforward and easily done in time for this tour and now this has happened."
