We hear in the news reports daily of people mistreating one another. My story is just the opposite.

My husband is handicapped. It's difficult for him to stand, and he uses a walker. Each time we are in a restaurant or out in public, when people see me struggling to help, they are at my side, offering and giving help.

I truly believe that the vast majority of Americans possess these same qualities of kindness and compassion vs. the demented few who kill innocent people because of some personal vendetta.

To all of you who have offered and given your help, I am most grateful, not only for your help, but for restoring my faith in humanity.
