The tarp has been removed. We'll have baseball at 5 p.m.

It was pouring here at O.co this morning, so bad that the visitors dugout has a few inches of water in it and the coaches room in the home clubhouse is spouting sewage. Heard the Twins clubhouse is dry.

This at the same stadium where sewage has backed up in the home dugout a few times.

FSN's Kevin Gorg just texted that the Twins dugout is not as bad as the field looks.

Not sure what affect that will have on the start of the game. In 16 years of coming here, it was the most rain I've ever seen in California. It's starting to clear now and workers are brushing water off of the tarp. Hopefully, we'll get an update soon on if the game will start on time or not.

UPDATE: They just announced that the start of the game will be delayed. Sounds kinda graphic in the A's coaches' room. The shower area has backed up sewage and sewage, at one point, was oozing from the bathroom faucets. What a place.

Trevor Plouffe is back in the lineup after taking Friday off to tend to a sore left wrist.

Reliever Anthony Swarzak has left the team to take care of a personal matter. He will re-join the club Monday at Target Field. He left the team before Friday's game.
