COLUMBUS, Ohio — Investigators are zeroing in on the driver of a Greyhound bus that ran off an interstate and flipped over in southwest Ohio as they try to determine what led to the accident.
State Highway Patrol Sgt. Charlie Scales says investigators haven't found anything that would indicate there was a problem with the bus leading up to Saturday's crash, which injured at least 35 people.
Scales says investigators believe a "performance issue" from the driver may have caused the accident along Interstate 75. He said Tuesday investigators are trying to obtain bus surveillance video that will help them confirm what they believe happened.
A patrol spokeswoman says there's no timetable for when the final report will be completed.
A recording at a phone number listed for the driver says the number may be disconnected.
