The drive has been dreadful for many who left for work between 7 and 8:15 a.m. today, but now that we are entering the latter stages of the rush, a few routes are starting to clear out.
You'll find the drive along westbound 94 difficult. A crash at Century Avenue is the beginning of congestion-related delays that extend over to Riverside Avenue in Minneapolis. That trip is estimated at 30 minutes.
Westbound Hwy. 36 continues to struggle from Edgerton Street to Cleveland Avenue. That is 15 minutes.
Northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis is still running at 17 minutes. Southbound from Industrial Blvd. to 94 is about 14 minutes.
A crash on eastbound 494 at W. Bush Lake Road is adding to congestion in Bloomington. It's 15 minutes to reach 35W.
Northbound Cedar Avenue and 35W south of 494 are thinning out. Southbound 494 is looking better with 11 minutes needed from Hwy. 55 to Hwy. 212.
