Save Our Symphony Minnesota plans a protest Friday at Orchestra Hall. The event is scheduled from 4:30-5:30 p.m., preceding a reception that the Minnesota Orchestral Association is hosting for patrons in the newly remodeled Orchestra Hall.

According to a press release from Save Our Symphony Minnesota, "Demonstrators plan to stage a mock lock-out with chains and a giant padlock and demonstrate how easy a lockout is to end."

"We're hoping that the patrons who got invited to the 'Private Patron Party' are people who can persuade the Board," said SOSMN chair MaryAnn Goldstein in a statement. "It's time for management to negotiate and end the lockout."
