Early Morning T-storms. NWS Doppler radar estimates suggest some .25 to .50" amounts from near Brooklyn Park to Minneapolis and St. Paul from morning storms, the heaviest amounts (1 to 1.5") south of St. Paul.
Slight Severe Storm Risk. A Severe Storm Watch remains posted for portions of the Red River Valley; the atmosphere over much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin still ripe for strong to severe storms later today, especially north of the Twin Cities. Source: NOAA SPC.
