Overnight, crews working on I-694 in the northern suburbs closed the ramp from eastbound 694 to southbound 35W for construction. That ramp will remain closed until Aug. 31.

In Shakopee and Bloomington, MnDOT had planned to return northbound traffic to the northbound lanes and southbound traffic to the southbound lanes across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge, but that did not happen. So drivers are still sharing the southbound lanes between County Road 18 and Old Shakopee Road.

There is no word yet as to why the switch did not happen, or if that means that the entire bridge won't reopen overnight tonight.

Traffic is just starting to build through there this morning, so no major delays yet.

The Hwy. 10 work zone through Anoka is also starting to see some traffic, so it won't be long before delays begin approaching Greenhaven Drive.
