A rush hour filled with crashes in strategic places has led to longer-than-normal drives for commuters on many routes this morning. At the present, all crashes have cleared, but the issues left in their wake still remain.

Our current tough spots include northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis. That is 20 minutes.

Westbound 94 continues its slow slog from McKnight Road over to downtown Minneapolis. That trip is running at 30 minutes.

Southbound 35W is trying to recover from an early morning crash. Traffic is still thick from Lake Drive to 694. That also has traffic tied up on eastbound Hwy. 10 from County Road J to 35W. Plan on an extra 10 minutes in that area.

The work zones on Hwy. 169 over the Bloomington Ferry Bridge and eastbound Hwy. 10 through Anoka still have noteworthy delays.

There also are pockets of slow and go traffic on southbound Hwy. 100 from Duluth Street to Hwy. 7, westbound Crosstown from 28th Avenue to Hwy. 100 and southbound 494 from 94 to 394.
