Twins manager Ron Gardenhire was looking for a way to get Wilkin Ramirez in the lineup and got one when Oswaldo Arcia told trainers his wrist was a little sore. The Twins are facing a left-handed starter in each of the final three games of the series, so Arcia could sit for a couple days to get his wrist right.

Gardy wished he could have kept Chris Colabello, but he feels he needs three catchers for the next stretch of games. He likes Colabello and thinks he could stick in the majors. And he hopes to get him back up to the majors in the couple of weeks when rosters can be expanded.

With Charlie Manuel being fired on Friday. Gardy was asked if it made him think about his situation: ``
``It doesn't affect me at all,'' Gardenhire said. ``I've got mine and he's got his. We'll deal with that at the end of the year. Just like I've talked with the Pohlads and I've talked with (GM) Terry (Ryan) and everything will be talked about at the end of the year. It's the right thing for this organization, for myself, and for Terry.''
