WEST ALLIS, Wis. — A Mount Horeb teen has died after suffering a head injury at the Wisconsin State Fair.
A report from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner says 19-year-old John Klossner fell from the back of a pickup truck at the fair on Aug. 3.
Police say Klossner was handling cattle at the fair and was riding in the bed of the pickup with four others. Authorities say after some coaxing from passengers, the pickup driver floored the accelerator and Klossner and another person fell off the truck.
The report says the teen landed on his feet, but then fell backward and hit his head on the asphalt.
