Joey Browner, a standout safety for the Vikings from 1983-91, will be inducted into the Vikings’ Ring of Honor, a tribute that will occur during halftime of the team’s Week 8 game against Green Bay. That contest will be a Sunday Night Football affair at Mall of America Field.

Browner will be the team’s 21st honoree.
