Gophers target and 2014 recruit Terry Larrier condensed his list of schools to ten, including the Gophers in a still-wide range of schools.

According to Zagsblog.com, the 6-8 wing listed Minnesota among Penn State, Marquette, UConn, Florida State, Miami, St. John's, VCU, Florida and Seton Hall as schools he is seriously considering going forward.

Larrier's recruitment started slow but really took off in July, when he impressed scores of high-major coaches on the national AAU scene. He would bring some much-needed size to the Gophers, whose recruiting efforts have been guard-heavy early on. The New York native is currently ranked No. 38 in the nation according to Rivals.

His AAU coach, Terrance "Munch" Williams told Zagsblog that Larrier plans to visit St. John's and UConn this month, although no exact plans have been made.

The Gophers have made a handful of their targets' short lists lately, including Wade Baldwin, Josh Martin, Josh Perkins and Ja'Quan Newton, before the latter committed to Miami yesterday. Minnesota still has yet to land any recruits for 2014.
