6 P.M. VS. SEATTLE • TARGET CENTER • 106.1-FM

Lynx update: A schedule quirk makes this the first game for the Lynx vs. the Storm this season. Four of the Lynx's final 16 games will be against Seattle. The Lynx (15-3) have won five in a row at home against Seattle. Minnesota carries an eight-game winning streak into the game and has won 17 consecutive home games dating to last season. The Lynx held San Antonio to 34.2 percent shooting in a 22-point victory over the Silver Stars on Friday. It was the 12th time a Lynx opponent has shot under 40 percent this season. Rookie Rachel Jarry, who missed Friday's game because of a sprained ankle, is questionable for this game.

Storm update: Playing without G Sue Bird (knee) and F/C Lauren Jackson (hamstring) all season, the Storm appears to finally be adjusting. Seattle (8-10) has won two in a row, and both were impressive victories. Seattle won at Los Angeles on July 25, then at home against Phoenix on Thursday. That modest winning streak has the Storm in fourth place in the Western Conference, a half-game behind third-place Phoenix entering Saturday's games. Four players are averaging in double figures for Seattle, led by veteran forward Tina Thompson (12.5 points), who is retiring after the season.
