BEMIDJI, Minn. — Beltrami County sheriff's officials are seeking the public's help in finding a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run.
The body of 25-year-old Christopher Lee Strong of Bemidji was discovered on a road near Bemidji about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. Sheriff's investigators say skid marks and vehicle parts were found on the road.
The sheriff's department says it is seeking a red vehicle with front end damage.
Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the driver involved in the hit-and-run. Anyone with information about Strong's whereabouts on Tuesday is also asked to call (218) 333-9111.
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
