Some commuters in the southwest metro trying to avoid the Hwy. 169 debacle apparently have opted to use Hwy. 212, and that has led to heavier than normal traffic levels there. It's slow and go from Dell Road over to Wallace Road in Eden Prairie, so add a few extra minutes to the trip.
Northbound Hwy. 169 is backed up to County Road 18, but the delays seem to be remaining constant. Yesterday things backed up beyond Canterbury Road.
Drivers on eastbound Hwy. 13 are not making better progress. Things are crawling from Hwy. 169 through Savage over to 35W. Once on 35W, it's 20 minutes from Hwy. 13 to the Crosstown.
In the east metro, commuters on westbound 94 can plan on 20 minutes from Keats Avenue in Woodbury to 35E, and another 15 to 18 to reach downtown Minneapolis.
