It's no surprise that northbound Hwy. 169 is backed up at the Bloomington Ferry Bridge, but those who decided to scoot over to I-35W by using eastbound Hwy. 13 probably won't save any time.

Heavier traffic levels and all the stoplights through Savage is making that trip just as long as sitting in the backup on 169. It's 20 minutes no matter which way you go.

Then once on 35W, northbound is plugged from County Road 50 all the way up to 494. That is a 25-minute drive, with another 20 needed to get to downtown Minneapolis.

Here is what you can expect elsewhere:

North metro

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280: 28 minutes

Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 25 minutes. Look for slow conditions from County J to County 96. A motorist is changing a tire at County Road H2.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 22 minutes.

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 20 minutes
