Broadway stalwart Patti LuPone is coming to the Twin Cities for two nights of intimate performances.
LuPone, who won Tonys for playing Eva Perón in "Evita" and Mama Rose in the 2000 revival of "Gypsy," will hold forth at the Dakota jazz club and restaurant on Sept. 12th and 13th. She will deliver songs by the likes of Cole Porter and Johnny Mercer for a new, travel-themed show called "Far Away Places."
