No arrests have been made in connection with Saturday’s home invasion in Long Lake, Wayzata police said on Sunday.
Three armed men broke into a home, robbed the couple living there, bound them and beat them, then fled in the red 2014 Kia Sorento belonging to John Davis, 46, and his wife, Karen Davis, 55 who live on Glenmoor Lane.
Lt. Mike Murphy said Sunday that the incident is still under investigation but that “the matter appears to be not a random act.”
John Davis was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with back and neck wounds, police said. The hospital said it had no information on his condition.
The license plate of the stolen car is 723-KVL.
