Northbound Highway 169 to remain closed through morning rush

Good morning, commuters!
I have bad news for drivers who use northbound Hwy. 169 between Hwy. 55 and I-94. Crews who were doing resurfacing ran into some unforeseen difficulties and therefore the lanes will remain closed until sometime this afternoon.
The detour takes motorists over to Hwy. 100. I-494 would also be a good alternate.
In Bloomington motorists traveling on West 82nd, West 86th and west 90th Streets in Bloomington will encounter delays and detours as crews close the lanes to chip seal the surface of the three bridges this week. Today, the eastbound lanes on the West 82nd Street and the West 86th Street Bridges will close. They should reopen Tuesday
I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.
If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
