Dakota County news briefs: Wine/beer fundraiser to benefit Lakeville Heritage Center

  • July 20, 2013 - 2:00 PM

More than 100 wines, craft beers and spirits will be available for sampling, along with light food and appetizers, at the Summer Splash fundraiser for the Lakeville Heritage Center from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.

A silent auction, contests and prizes also are planned. Tickets are $25; see or visit Lakeville City Hall, the Heritage Center or any Lakeville liquor store.

The Heritage Center — which contains a senior center, headquarters for the local historical society and Yellow Ribbon campaign, and meeting and banquet facilities — has been funded largely by private donations, and organizers continue to work to pay off the building. It’s located at 20110 Holyoke Av.
