Splish splash

Mason Kraft, 5, of St. Paul Park, enjoyed the splash pad at Highlands Park in Cottage Grove on Monday. The splash pad, which opened last summer, offers kids a free, wet playground with fountains that spray water that then drains so there's no water depth. During summer the splash pad is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. The park is located at 6975 Isden Av. S.
