The drive on westbound 494 is very uncomfortable from 12th Avenue over to Hwy. 100. That is taking about 18 minutes at the present.
Drivers on 694 in the north metro also are feeling the squeeze. Westbound is packed from University Avenue over to Hwy. 252.
The usual slowdown is in place on southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to 694. That also has a small backup on eastbound Hwy. 10 approaching 35W.
Our other spots with tight traffic include:
Northbound Hwy. 169 from County Road 18 to 494
Westbound 94 from McKnight Road to Marion Street
Eastbound 94 from Brockton Lane to Weaver Lake Road
Northbound I-35 from County Road 46 up to Crystal Lake Road.
