Rashad Vaughn, the former Cooper High School star, will play for Findley Prep in Nevada for his senior year in high school, according to a blog post on ESPN.com and a tweet from the Findley coach.
Vaughn had previously said he was leaving the Twin Cities so that he could play against tougher competition to close out his prep career.
ESPN.com's Phil Biancardi called Vaughn "the top (high school) shooting guard in the country" and added:" The past few days at the LeBron James Skills Academy in Las Vegas, Vaughn showed his 3-point shooting and pull-up game both in skill work and game competition. While looking to score off dribble penetration, he also displays the ability to make an assist in traffic. Vaughn is the type of offensive player who always keeps the defense on its heels because of his attacking nature."
