MINNEAPOLIS — Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is teaming up with a football helmet company to donate 1,000 helmets to a youth football program in Minneapolis.
Fitzgerald will join officials from the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board on Monday to celebrate the donation of the Riddell Revolution Speed Classic Youth football helmets. Fitzgerald and Riddell announced the donation in October.
Monday's event will include football activities with Fitzgerald and youth football players. Fitzgerald and Riddell president Dan Arment will also be making remarks.
Fitzgerald is a Minneapolis native.
