BOISE, Idaho — Idaho State Police say a Minnesota man died after the Harley Davidson motorcycle he was riding collided with an antelope near the town of Ellis in central Idaho.
Police say 53-year-old Lawrence Steffens of St. Louis Park, Minn., died about 2 p.m. Friday after the antelope ran in front of Steffens while Steffens negotiated a corner on U.S. Highway 93.
Police say Steffens became separated from the motorcycle and died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
Idaho State Police are continuing to investigate.
