Bring National Geographic on your park visit

Heading to a national park this summer, sequester or not? Be your own park ranger with the new free app for iPhone and iPad called "National Parks by National Geographic." It offers up photo galleries (stunning, of course), visitor information and maps for 25 of the country's most visited national parks, such as Glacier, Yosemite and Hawai'i Volcanoes. Minnesotans, take note: You will not find Voyageurs here. Also out, parks in the Dakotas. What you will find for highlighted parks: interactive maps, lists of must-sees, GPS coordinates for points of interest, local weather and tips for taking photos.
