Smoke is coming from under a tire on a Metro Transit bus on 11th Street and Hennepin Av. in downtown Minneapolis. Fire department is on the scene.
An update on this incident: A Metro Transit spokesman said the brakes on the bus were smoking and the fire department checked it out and released the bus shortly thereafter. Customers boarded a following bus and were on their way. Bus will be evaluated and brakes repaired.
