Good morning, commuters!

After a quiet day weather-wise, word from meteorologist Paul Douglas says things could get a little bumpy as thunderstorms are back in the forecast. They won't disrupt the morning commute, but the drive home could be wet.

As for the present, we have one crash on the system. It's northbound on Cedar Avenue at I-35E in Eagan. There is one vehicle involved and it's on the left shoulder.

That sinkhole in Robbinsdale remains, as does the closure of County Road 81 between 36th Avenue N. and Hwy. 100. The detour takes drivers along 36th Avenue and Hwy. 100. 42nd Avenue between Broadway and Lakeland Avenue also is closed. Expect this mess to continue for another week or two.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
