Commuters on the westbound Crosstown may want to consider Hiawatha Avenue if they are headed downtown. Traffic is not moving from the Mendota Bridge over to 34th Avenue where a wreck is taking out the left lane. Ahead, things are slow all the way over to Penn Avenue.
Look for a fender bender on the right shoulder of northbound Hwy. 13 at County Road 11.
Another new wreck just reported is on southbound Hwy. 100 at Brooklyn Blvd. From there, it's 15 minutes down to Hwy. 7.
On southbound Hwy. 169, the accident at Minnetonka Blvd. is adding to the congestion through the work zone. It's 15 minutes from Cedar Lake Road to the Crosstown.
Other crashes on the system include one on westbound 94 at 42nd Avenue, and on eastbound 394 on the downtown Minneapolis ramps just past the interchange with 94.
