Drugs: A juvenile male and two men were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of Market Street.

EDINA

MAY 20

Assault: A 24-year-old Edina man was arrested on suspicion of assault in the 4800 block of 50th Street after he was allegedly involved in a road rage incident.

MAY 23

Drunken driving: A 68-year-old Edina woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and having an open bottle on 64th Street and York Avenue.

EXCELSIOR

MAY 18

Disorderly conduct: A 55-year-old Mankato woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and assault after she allegedly hit security staff with her bicycle helmet at Bayside Grille, 685 Excelsior Blvd. A Tonka Bay man, 45, was also arrested on suspicion of obstruction of force after officers observed him wrestling with the security staff.

MAY 20

Theft: A 16-year-old Excelsior boy was cited for theft after taking a cellphone from an 11-year-old boy who was playing football and had left the phone in the grass on the 800 block of 3rd Avenue.

MEDINA

MAY 8

Animal complaint: A woman from the 400 block of Pheasant Ridge Road reported a raccoon stuck in a tree. She was advised that it was probably frightened by dogs. She said she would leave her dogs inside to see if the raccoon came down.

MAY 11

Fire: An officer responded to a home in the 4700 block of Foxberry Drive regarding a residential house fire. According to police reports, the homeowner was able to extinguish most of the fire with a garden hose. The fire was caused by a recreational fire from the previous night that had not been fully extinguished.

MINNETONKA

MAY 21

Weapon: Someone reported a man carrying a rifle case slung on his back in the area of Hwy. 7 and County Road 101. Officers located him and found that he was carrying an umbrella.

PLYMOUTH

MAY 11

Arson: A fire was set to a portable toilet in the 1800 block of Shadyview Circle N.

RICHFIELD

MAY 24

Burglary: An 18-year-old Hopkins man was arrested on suspicion of burglary at a home at 74th Street and Thomas Avenue S.

MAY 25

Child endangerment: Officers responded to a report of a child left in a vehicle in the 1000 block of 78th Street. The child unlocked the vehicle for the officers. The 56-year-old father was cited for child endangerment.

SHOREWOOD

MAY 19

Animal complaint: A woman from a home in the 5800 block of Minnetonka Drive requested help in removing a turtle from the road. The call was canceled after a neighbor helped her remove the turtle.

MAY 22

Animal complaint: A man reported an abandoned fawn in the back yard of his home in the 25600 block of Maple View Court. He said the fawn was screaming for help. Animal control advised him that it was best to leave the deer alone.

TONKA BAY

Animal complaint: Raccoons raided garbage cans on Wekota Beach. They were gone when officers arrived.
