St. Paul Johnson senior Ki Lia Her defeated Raven Klein of Burnsville 21-11, 21-16 to win the singles championship in the badminton state tournament Thursday at Eden Prairie High School.
St. Paul Highland Park senior Gao Lee, the defending state champion, didn't participate because of a knee injury. Her teammates, seniors Coua Lee and Jenny Vang, won the doubles championship with a 21-15, 21-19 victory over Britta Riggs and Catherine Connelly of Burnsville.
St. Paul Johnson won its fourth consecutive team title on Wednesday.
