WILD WEST DAYS

The Zimmerman Civic Club gives a nod to Memorial Day weekend with a plethora of fun for all. Impersonate your favorite singer in a lip sync contest. See the soapbox derby and parade. OPENING WEEKEND AT HISTORIC FORT SNELLING

Gather the gang for a visit with costumed interpreters and learn a thing or two about Minnesota’s history. Participate in a scavenger hunt, play games and explore buildings. Other attractions include weapons, large-scale military and cooking hearth demonstrations. (10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat.; noon-5 p.m. next Sun. $5-$7.
