Chicago, like the Twin Cities, has had a rough weather week. Heavy rains have led to flooding and highways being closed.

Now it's cold. I was pulling up at the hotel when tonight's Twins-White Sox game was postponed because of cold weather. It's 39 degrees now and expected to be around freezing by game time. A makeup date has not been announced yet.

Vance Worley will start on Saturday and Scott Diamond will start on Sunday. Kevin Correia and Mike Pelfrey are tentatively scheduled to start the two games against Miami.

Since the Twins have decided to have a top farm system, the weekly minor league report will return to the sports section starting tomorrow. What I would like to do is keep some sort of "Minor Details" on the website, but there will be weekly notes every Saturday. The Twins have several exciting prospects, and we are going to do all we can to keep you informed about them.
