Reps. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, conservative stalwarts in the U.S. House, got plenty of Sky News airtime in London today as part of a congressional delegation to the funeral of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Bachmann, donning a 1920s-style cloche hat, called Thatcher a "strong woman of faith" and "the most consequential political woman of the last 100 years."
Bachmann, who often compared herself to the "Iron Lady" during her presidential run, promoted the appearance through Twitter and her congressional office.
