7 P.M. at San ANTONIO • AT&T Center • Ch. 29, 830-AM

Preview: The Spurs will enter the playoffs as the West’s No. 2 seed, so there’s no telling who coach Gregg Popovich will rest Wednesday. He sat starters Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard and injured Manu Ginobili for Monday’s 116-105 loss at Golden State. But you might even see veteran guard Tracy McGrady, who played in China this season and signed with the Spurs Tuesday for the playoffs. … The 58-23 Spurs have lost three of their past four games. … Wolves starting center Nikola Pekovic accompanied the team to San Antonio on Tuesday, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll play in the season finale. He has missed the past three games because of a bruised calf. … The Spurs lead the season series 2-1, but the Wolves won the last meeting, a stunningly lopsided 107-83 victory at Target Center on March 12. They’ve beaten the Wolves 16 consecutive times in San Antonio.

Players to watch: Expect plenty of Cory Joseph and Nando De Colo. Oh, and don’t forget, provided he plays, Spurs swingman Danny Green. He has started 79 games at shooting guard, is averaging a career-high 10.6 points, and he made eight three-pointers and scored a career-high 28 points in a Feb. 6 victory at Target Center.

Injuries: Pekovic is questionable. Wolves F Kevin Love (knee, hand surgeries), G Brandon Roy (knees) and G Malcolm Lee (hip, knee surgeries) are out. Spurs F Boris Diaw (spinal cyst) is out. Ginobili hasn’t played since March 29 because of a strained hamstring, but Parker predicted after Monday’s game that he’ll play the season finale.
