UPDATE: Darin Mastroianni's left ankle, which he injured during the final week of spring training last month, has flared up again, the Twins say. He's day-to-day, but he's been scratched from tonight's lineup, leaving the Twins down to two bench players: Jamey Carroll and Eduardo Escobar.

It also moves Brian Dozier up to the leadoff spot, moves Wilkin Ramirez out to left field (rather than serving as DH on his first night back from paternity leave) and forces Ryan Doumit, being given a night off against a left-handed pitcher, into the lineup as DH. And at the bottom of the lineup, Aaron Hicks moves down one spot to eighth in the order.

Manager Ron Gardenhire has changed his lineup, moving Aaron Hicks out of the leadoff spot for the first time. With Josh Willingham still sick, Hicks can move down and Darin Mastroianni, the team's other frequent leadoff hitter, can play left and lead off.

It's also the first time the Twins have used a cleanup hitter other than Justin Morneau, Ryan Doumit or Willingham. And Wilkin Ramirez is in the lineup after returning from the birth of his daughter on Sunday.
