Gophers vs. Boston U. • 3 p.m. Sunday • Ridder ARENA • NO TV, NCAA.com

Gophers at a glance: Gophers goaltender Noora Raty was the MVP of last year's Frozen Four, as the Gophers defeated Cornell (3-1) and Wisconsin (4-2) to win their first NCAA title since 2005. In Friday's NCAA semifinal, the Gophers got goals from Hannah Brandt, Becky Kortum and Sarah Davis in defeating Boston College 3-2 in overtime. That same BC team went 1-1-1 against Boston University this year, but one of those games was a 7-1 blowout win for Boston College.

Boston University at a glance: Minnesota hasn't faced BU since since 2007, when the Gophers defeated the Terriers 4-2 in an early-season clash. Gophers coach Brad Frost said this BU team reminds him of North Dakota because it has world-class talent (specifically Olympian Marie-Philip Poulin), three solid lines and big, strong defensemen. Terriers junior goaltender Kerrin Sperry is 24-4-3 with a 2.11 goals against average. BU defeated Mercyhurst 4-1 in Friday's NCAA semifinal and is 23-1-1 this season when scoring first.

Broadcast: The game will be streamed through NCAA.com.
