A missing woman from Chisago County who was feared to be held against her will by her boyfriend has been found unharmed, according to authorities.

Dajya M. Wyne, 23, of Stacy, "left voluntarily" on Monday with her boyfriend, a 24-year-old man from Minneapolis, and headed toward the Twin Cities, according to a crime alert issued by the Sheriff's Office early Friday afternoon.

Later that day, Wyne called her mother and said she had been assaulted in a hotel room somewhere along Interstate 35W and needed money, the Sheriff's Office added.

She was located Friday afternoon at a friend's house in St. Louis Park, said Deputy Mark Stovern of the Sheriff's Office.

Wyne said that she had been able to get away from her boyfriend several days ago, but she hadn't told anybody.

"She actually saw herself on the news," Stovern said, so she called police.
